Hunkered down "until the money ran out" at LA's analog hot-spot studio Palomino Sound, 'MORNING FLIGHT' resulted from the Ryans' time between San Clemente and El Sereno in Los Angeles.Produced alongside Jason Soda, the two dudes worked in the studio putting on the finishing touches to the sessions of a close-knit group of gifted players from Howlin Rain, Mapache, Grateful Shred, and GospelbeacH. The friends put a glow on Ryan's songs with a wide range of mood and textures. Choral beach-folk, surf, sunsets, sunrises, and dance floor souled-up funk songs along with jammy subtleties and a sense of camaraderie propel the songs. 'Morning Flight' is the first record numbered (CURED001) from the Curation catalog. It represents the California Curated Cool aesthetic just as well as any record on the label... not in the sense that we are "cooler" than you but in the cool vibes of harmony, community & togetherness that MORNING FLIGHT brings.
