Bacharcades

The Bach Arcades bring together two of the best German ensembles on one recording. The Calmus Ensemble and the Lautten Compagney combine their high musical ability and their inexhaustible pleasure in experimentation. The result is an exciting program with music from the Renaissance to the present day, conveyed and linked through Bach chorales. The singers and musicians invite the listener to stroll with them beneath the arches of music history that rise above the supporting pillars of the chorales.
