Atmosonix

?With Radiophonie, the new collection from it's Signature label, Radio France is broadening it's scope for action and creativity to reach the frontiers of functional music and future soundscapes. Apophonix/Atmosonix, signed by Benoît Delbecq and Steve Argüelles, magnify short forms over heady rhythmical motifs, with complex textures and moving timbres in a natural, precise matt production with echoes of ECM productions, GRM research and post-rock dynamics. From out of these two albums, to which double-bass player Christophe "Disco" Minck and sound designer Nicolas Becker (known for his film achievements) have also been invited, there surges the soundtrack of a radio that still remains to be invented.
