One fine day, an ant begins a march alone. When it begins to rain, he goes underground. There he meets a new friend who joins him in the next adventure.

Each day something new happens, and each day the ants end up back underground, where another new friend decides to join the march. The ants ride on motorcycles, go fishing and swimming, build things with bricks, sail in a hot-air balloon, and gather food together.
