This manual contains the latest changed approved by the Air Force effective JUNE 24, 2011. As an expeditionary Airman you must stay ready to deploy anywhere in the world on short notice. This manual doesn't contain everything you must know. It doesn't focus on the integrated joint or multinational nature of combat operations. It doesn't replace regulations or local procedures you'll need to follow. This manual does, however, cover basic warfighting skills and points of knowledge with the intent to help you successfully complete the mission. The tasks outlined in this manual apply at both deployed and home station locations. Keep the Airman's Manual close to you; use it while training and exercising for contingencies and deployments.
